Grocery and convenience stores are high volume businesses that can easily serve hundreds or even thousands of people a day, and they require more frequent visits. Our clients hire us to evaluate customer interactions with employees in each department, including the produce, meat, seafood, bakery, floral, deli, customer service and more. We make a purchase so we can interact with the cashier and possibly the bagger. At convenience stores we may also evaluate the gas and car wash areas in addition to interacting with the cashier. We provide information on customer service, timeliness, suggestive selling, staffing levels, product knowledge, product availability, product quality, staff appearance, receipt accuracy and more.
